My Artistic Language
My work lives between abstract and abstract realism, guided primarily by intuition rather than rules or formulas. Each painting begins differently — some arrive fully formed in my heart’s eye, and I develop techniques to bring that inner vision into physical form. Others begin without any plan at all, often through mixed media, allowing the painting itself to reveal what it wants to become.
I work with oils, acrylics, and mixed media, sometimes separately, sometimes layered together — oil over acrylic, texture beneath softness, structure dissolving into movement. I love expressive brushstrokes, rich colour mixing, and the freedom of exploration. No two pieces follow the same path, because each carries its own energy, rhythm, and intention.
For me, painting is not about control — it is about listening. Each work becomes a dialogue between feeling, presence, and emergence.
